What is CWELCC?
On March 28, 2022, the Provincial and Federal governments announced an agreement to fund licensed childcare with a goal of reducing fees to an average of $10 a day daycare, per child by 2025 under the Canada Wide Early Learning and Childcare program (CWELCC). The key objectives of this program are to lower childcare fees for eligible children, improve educator wages and increase access to quality childcare programs. The program provides funding for childcares to discount their fees.

How does CWELCC work?
The CWELCC program provides funding for childcare operators to discount their fees. As such, our tuition has been reduced by 52.75% for children under 6 years of age in all programs including JK/SK. Fostering a love of learning and providing quality care remains our north star. If you are interested in care, we suggest you secure a spot for your child as soon as possible. With the CWELCC program in place, we anticipate demand will outpace our ability to place all interested families.
Our programs
The CV programs extend from infant care through to kindergarten programs with the goal of instilling a lifelong love of learning in all children during the critical cognitive development period from 0-5 years. We deliver an accredited evidence-based curriculum that you will not experience at any other childcare. Our children are exposed to different curriculum models including Montessori, HighScope and Core Knowledge, not to mention secondary programs like Baby Signs, Jolly Phonics, and more. At CV, we have developed a holistic program to engage the minds, hands and hearts of each child.
