CV has so many different opportunities within the company, and they have rich diversity and multiculturalism that make me proud to work here. The children and families are amazing, and they make it easy to go to work every day. There is a lot of autonomy here too, so I’m given the freedom to provide children with different learning opportunities and to try out new things.
I have been working at Childventures since 2010 and they are the reason that I decided to make Early Childhood Education my permanent career. CV has invested in me in so many ways to help me grow within the education field. Being a part of a child’s growth and making a difference in their lives makes me feel like I’m really having an impact. The Vaughan team is like my extended family, and I honestly can’t picture working anywhere else!
CV is different from other employers because we offer curriculum trainings and workshops so that when an educator is feeling stuck, they have support in finding new strategies or even just to get a refresher on those strategies. CV offers programing so that you’re able to plan activities of interest and readiness for the children that make me feel confident as an ECE and that makes me believe that I’m making the biggest impact on the classroom.

Each year, we honour a CV team member who demonstrates outstanding and innovative leadership in early childhood education by presenting them with the Educator of the Year award.
This individual must exhibit exemplary early childhood education practices and show a real commitment to the success of the children. We are so proud of our team and their daily accomplishments and this award is just one of the ways we shine a spotlight on them.
