Founded in 2002, Ancaster was the very first CV academy and remains one of our most popular locations, 20 years later! In close proximity to Hamilton and the Meadowlands community, the Ancaster campus is easily accessible from the “Linc” and Hwy 403.
Ancaster is seen as a leader in the childcare community within the City of Hamilton since day one, setting the stage for quality care. While CV continues to expand its footprint in other regions, Ancaster will always have a special place at the heart of our organization.

Cory Werner, RECE
Centre Director, Ancaster
Cory started at CV in the apprentice program – he worked at CV during the day while he went to school for his RECE at night. During his time at the Burlington campus, Cory was the specialist for the Montessori and Brain Gym programs. Now, fourteen years later, as the Ancaster Centre Director, Cory brings leadership experience and a calm- under-pressure approach that instills confidence in team and children alike. Cory is a father of one toddler with another baby on the way. In his spare time, Cory loves to spend time in the backyard oasis he and his wife built themselves.
“Our son and daughter have attended Childventures for the past 4 years. They have always put our children’s needs first. The staff have so much knowledge, compassion and a caring mindset. They nurtured each of our children’s individual needs and inspired a passion for learning.”
– Ela Rice, JK/SK parent

Unlike many childcare centres, CV has a Registered Nutritionist on hand that specifically focuses on paediatric health and supporting families in raising well-nourished children right from the start. Stacey’s role at CV is to work with our head chef in developing the quarterly menu to ensure that each meal is nutritionally dense so that our children remain healthy, happy, (full!) and optimized for learning. With 15 years experience, Stacey’s career has been dedicated to nourishing babies, toddlers and children. While working as a paediatric nutrition consultant for CV, Stacey also works at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto as a paediatric dietitian, specializing in neuroscience.
