Early learning for Infants to SK
Childventures’ early childhood education programs foster healthy development and encourage a love of learning. We use a blended curriculum that takes the best of three world-renowned teaching methods and combines them into one enriched program. High Scope, Core Knowledge and Montessori methods all help your child develop into a successful learner – and a human being that’s truly interested in the world around them.
All the things your baby is familiar with at home – sleeping, eating, being held, being smiled at, being spoken to – is what he or she will experience here. We pride ourselves on our ability to cater to the individual needs of each child, and can accommodate different schedules, multiple naps, food preferences and more.
A wonderful, warm place for children aged 18 to 30 months to play, develop and learn. It offers a more structured group environment, with a schedule that includes plenty of stimulating indoor and outdoor experiences and lots of free choice and exposure to a variety of materials.
Using two curriculum models – Montessori and Core Knowledge – children have the chance to be involved in a variety of activities that foster their love of learning and discovery. Some elements of the program are more structured, and some depend on the choice of the child, offering an excellent introduction to self-guided learning and exposure to the Virtues Project™.
The Childventures JK/SK program offers a more formal classroom setting that’s focused around structured, self-guided discovery. With an enriched curriculum built around Montessori and Core Knowledge methods including Ontario Ministry guidelines, the program offers exciting opportunities for learning.
Before school, Childventures offers elementary school students a relaxed atmosphere to prepare for the day. Then, once their school day is finished, we offer a safe, stimulating extension of their learning adventure. Nutritious snacks are provided to support learning while your child socializes and participates in group activities.
For PD days, winter break, March break and summer holidays, Childventures day camps advance learning through fun. Children take part in a variety of entertaining, challenging activities that help develop creativity, fitness, problem-solving skills and more.
