Shawna Michelle

My son just started back this week at the Milton campus in one of the Preschool rooms. He has been attending the CV Milton campus since January 2019. We started him back with no hesitations that CV would go above and beyond to ensure the safety of the children, their families and all the staff. CV has done an outstanding job of communicating throughout the last few months about the steps that they have taken to ensure a safe transition back to the new “normal”. CV already had many protocols in place prior to covid and even added additional protocols to ensure a safe environment before the governments requirements to open were released.

From the drop off and pick up procedures to the daily interaction in the class room, no steps or safety precautions have been left out. The staff outside the classrooms are all in full PPE and they have amazing procedures set out to ensure the safety of everyone they interact with. The new procedures can come across as a little frightening for the children but they have done a great job of overcoming this and making every interaction a positive one. An example is walking my son through the drop off procedure and asking him to take his temp to letting him know they are going to walk him to his class after we leave. Seems simple but for a 2.5 year old who is used to mom and dad dropping off and picking up from the class it makes a difference. They educators in the class have done a great job of social distancing the children. An example of this is creating activity stations at different tables for each child and keeping them stimulated, interested and engaged the entire day.

From day 1 we have been blown away with every aspect of CV. The way in which they have dealt with the Covid-19 situation has further exceeded my expectations (which were already high). Many people have asked if we were nervous about my son being at a facility with a global pandemic still amongst us and I can honestly say I feel no different then how I felt prior to Covid-19. I feel my son is in a very safe environment. In my opinion this truly is the best facility in Milton.
