2 lbs rib steak thinly sliced 2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 red pepper cut into strips ½ tsp thyme
1 green pepper cut into strips 1 tsp garlic powder
1 small Spanish onion cut into strips salt and pepper to taste
1 lb mushrooms sliced 4 x 7 inch sub buns
Heat a large skillet with oil. Brown the meat with the seasonings. Remove from pan and sauté the peppers, onions and mushrooms. Put the meat back in the skillet with the sautéed vegetables and continue to cook. Lightly toast the buns in the oven and then equally distribute the cooked meat inside them. If you want to add cheese to the sandwich, mozzarella, Swiss and havarti are great choices.
