About Childventures
When you love to learn, success is a given.
The heart of CV’s curriculum is rooted in neuroscience. The first five years of a child’s life is a critical period for both biological and cognitive development. By the age of two, a child’s brain contains twice as many neurological synapses and consumes twice as much energy as an adult brain! Neuroscience also confirms what wires a child’s brain during this time frame is repeated experiences and “rich” experiences produce “rich” brains.
CV is so much more than just a daycare. No detail has been overlooked in our quest to provide children with an early learning education that stimulates whole child development.
Our Childcare centres are located in : Ancaster, Aurora, Burlington, Milton, Mississauga, Oakville, Richmond Hill, Vaughan.

The staff and management have been incredibly warm, welcoming and supportive to both my son and I. We have access to cameras to check in visually, an app that sends updates in real time and sends a report at the end of each day, including photos. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how much easier this transition has been and I’m certain it’s because we chose Childventures Aurora.

As Head Chef, John is responsible for the development and implementation of CV’s food & nutrition program, managing the culinary team across all 8 CV academies. With his extensive expertise in the field John develops the quarterly CV menus to ensure they are nutritionally dense, seasonally appropriate, nut-free, nutritionist approved, locally sourced and made from scratch whenever possible. All while being delicious and child approved. Orchestrating nutritional food that children will enjoy can be a daunting task, but John is up to the challenge!
Unlike many childcare centres, CV has a Registered Nutritionist on hand that specifically focuses on paediatric health and supporting families in raising well-nourished children right from the start. Stacey’s role at CV is to work with our head chef in developing the quarterly menu to ensure that each meal is nutritionally dense so that our children remain healthy, happy, (full!) and optimized for learning. With 15 years experience, Stacey’s career has been dedicated to nourishing babies, toddlers and children. While working as a paediatric nutrition consultant for CV, Stacey also works at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto as a paediatric dietitian, specializing in neuroscience.
