  • Throughout the past 5 years, teachers and staff at Childventures have been a part of our family. They have actively partnered to provide development and growth opportunities while also genuinely caring for our children's overall well being. Their online HiMama system gave us daily access and real time updates on what our children were experiencing each day - enriching our discussions with our children after school and allowing us to be more integrated into their educational experiences. We feel privileged to have had access to Childventure programs during the important early childhood education years. We absolutely recommend it to other parents.

  • When I returned to work when our Owen was 12 months old, we were forced to find a daycare last minute. After looking at a few, an acquaintance mentioned ChildVentures to us. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew it was the one. Charlene and the infant teachers made us feel welcome and comfortable about leaving our baby. During our first visit, Owen immediately jumped into the circle of mats in the middle of the infant room and began playing. During the four and a half years since then, he has grown into a smart, funny, confident boy, who is now prepared and excited to start a new adventure in Grade 1. The CV campus is the best we have seen, the meals and snacks provided are fantastic and the teachers and staff are warm and caring. We can't say enough good things about CV and would highly recommend it to anyone. We are both sad and proud that Owen's time at CV is now over, but we are happy and excited to have Gavin starting in the infant program in the fall. We are confident that our second baby will be well taken care of and will grow and thrive at CV just as his big brother did.

  • It's not easy to leave your little ones in just anyone's hands. ChildVentures takes away that worry and replaces it with the knowledge that our kids are in a safe, nurturing and educational environment, surrounded by staff who love them. I am so blessed to have had my two girls at ChildVentures from such an early age. This is our last month for both of them and we will be very Sad to leave but, We will be back in coming years for the Amazing Summer Camp!!!! Thank you to all the Warm and Caring Staff at CV you will never be forgotten!!

  • Our experience with the infant room and toddler room at Child Ventures has been great. My son has food allergies and Child Ventures caters to his allergies. They also go above and beyond to provide the kids love and support during transition time. My sons vocabulary and level of knowledge has elevated greatly since he started there! You can monitor your little one on a camera and the daily report is very detailed and informative. Highly recommend.

  • We are in LOVE with this daycare and all of the special people that work there. Our first daughter started at ChildVentures when she was just 10 months old and I was so apprehensive about leaving her. The infant team was phenomenal in transitioning her to the environment and making her feel at home. She is now in the toddler program and the teachers there are FABULOUS. All of the staff are amazing and everyone in each section knows my daughter's name (and no, not because she is bad!) The teachers are warm and caring and devoted to her care and learning. They are receptive to any requests and are very accommodating in helping us with my daughter's special need (hearing loss). My second daughter will be starting there soon and we look forward to both girls growing up at this daycare. Thank you to the Ancaster Team for taking care of my babies! :)

  • I have had a great experience with Childventures with Daniel and I have felt supported throughout my time at the school. My son has made great strides in his growth and development and loves going to school because of the safe environment he has at school with his teachers and friends. The school and his teachers have also supported him and guided him in the development of his social behavior and this has been very helpful. Thanks Childventures for assisting and supporting my son. My daughter also has thrived in her growth at Childventures from the Infant to JK program I have watched her mature and grow. She is now in Grade 2 and very successful with her development and learning. I am sure that her time at Childventures has prepared her for the future and am thankful for her teacher’s support throughout her time at the school.

  • My son attended CV from Toddlers to JK and my husband and I loved every minute of his time there. His teachers were amazing all the way through. Miss Katie and Mrs. Kimberly were literally his second mothers. He still talks about both of them and how much he misses them! His physical or emotional needs were always met. Any concerns I may have had were addressed with compassion and concern, and the communication between the school and home was excellent. He had a wonderful foundation for the transition to his home school for SK, and his new teachers were thrilled with his academics. Thank you to everyone at CV who looked after my son like he was their own for 3 years!

  • We originally picked Childventures because of its facility, class size and location. After just one week, our daughter, Amelia, had already made new friends and was fitting into the her class so well. Over the next month, we began to realize how wonderful her group of teachers were and how engaged Amelia became with learning new material each day. After such a smooth transition for Amelia, it was only natural that we would enroll our younger daughter, Sabrina into Childventures when she grew up. From our experience, Childventures provides a complete education program and a nurturing environment that enriched both our daughters' early development. The combined curriculum of Montessori and core knowledge was very well implemented. The fresh lunches and snacks prepared daily by the chefs smelled so good that we wished we could stay to eat with the children. Through the years that our girls attended Childventures, it was the warmth and caring given by each teacher that truly made a difference and we will always be thankful for.

  • 6 years ago I was looking for a daycare for my daughter Julia. What I found was a school, with amazing staff and wonderful teachers. Being a first time mom, I was very apprehensive about leaving Julia at a school with people I didn’t know. She was 8 months old and just a baby. After a few short weeks I found it easier. I was confident CV would look after her best interests, and it was evident that she was learning so much. Julia grew extremely fond of her teachers, as did I. Her teachers absolutely adored her, and genuinely cared. Everyday she learned something new and seemed so far ahead for her age. When I had my second child (Emma) there was no question that she would also be attending CV. Childventures has had such a positive influence on my daughters. Thank you for caring for them, teaching them and helping shape who they will become!

  • I was provided an opportunity to cut my mat-leave short and return to a new role when our little one was only 10 months old – a wonderful opportunity, but a new stress for first-time parents. In Childventures we found the ideal place for Marshall to spend his days and there was absolutely no comparison to the warmth and “at home” feeling we found in the Childventures community as we toured other childcare providers. He started right away and we never looked back! Our son was enveloped within a wonderful of community at Childventures, there were new friends – both other little ones and teachers – and the little bumps and bruises that happen along the way were always tenderly handled, the achievements were celebrated, and we truly began to feel that his “day parents” were an extension of our own family, it was such a great and comforting feeling and there was always a fun story about his day at pick-up time. The single biggest advantage Childventures provides is their people, not a single staff memeber is putting in time, everyone has a deep love of working with children, a patient and caring nature, and that’s the key difference, the team loves what they do – and you can feel it. With the support of child development experts working with him every day and offering new games and challenges, our son became an early walker and speaker, learned to use the bathroom independently, and could count and read well ahead of age expectations. Schools was also a ton of fun with water days, art adventures, special guests, costumes, and lots of singing songs and great stories. We developed friendships with other Moms and Dads, it was great to know his friends families and sharing birthdays and holidays was more fun as we were able to include new friends too. When we finally had to leave Childventures and start his new experience in a grade one school it really became evident what an advantage his sense of problem solving, conflict management, completing tasks, listening, and following classroom expectations was for him. Marshall is comfortable working independently but also integrates well into teams, he shares well and is able to listen to instructions and take feedback from teachers and coaches in a way that continues to push him along and he is comfortable talking out problems with his peers. We really give a lot of credit to the experience at Childventures, the school supported the values we have at home and provided a fun and safe place to learn and have fun as he grew and developed, in a way that far exceeded our ability to provide at home. It also pushed me to be a better cook – when your child develops a love for risotto and quiche you have to up your game!

  • My name is Steve M and I wanted to take a moment to thank the wonderful staff of Childventures in Ancaster. My wife and I have had the pleasure of having both our daughters go through the program in its entirety. Starting from the infant program we saw the care this staff has for all the kids who attend. Always patient, informative and compassionate. It really gave us the comfort to know our children were exposed to such a positive environment every day. Through the advancing levels the experience continued to be great. The daily curriculum and activities, excellent nutrition program, socializing with other kids and building friendships made our kids look forward to every day. The centre goes the extra mile. Holiday celebrations and special themed days were great examples of this. The communication is fantastic and they are always there to answer any questions or concerns. We kept both our girls there all the way into the kindergarten years. And we are so happy we did. The two years with that were amazing. The reading, writing, math programs, along with all the other subjects were done at such a terrific level. Our kids thrived. Childventures has simply been an amazing thing in our girls lives. We are so happy we found it and were fortunate to get them enrolled there. I would encourage any parent to consider this centre for their children. They are the best!!

  • Childventures has been an incredible experience for me and my children. I wasn't sure how well my kids would adapt from being at home full time to being in someone else's care. It was such an easy transition due to the amazing teachers that have made them feel so comfortable and welcome. My 2 sons can't say enough great things about their teachers, and I know that each day they are there, they are given an enriched learning experience and are well cared for. I still remember how impressed I was walking into the school for the first time. The facility is beautiful and I love how there are separate class rooms for art, drama, music and computers. CV is a little campus for kids and my children have really enjoyed being there. I am amazed at what my kids bring home in their day to day learning, whether it's a new phrase, displaying their virtues, or even a singing a new song. As a parent, I love reading their daily reports on what they did and what they ate. Thank you CV for an amazing 3 years and an extra special thank you to Miss Kimberly, Miss Davina, Miss Taylor and Miss Nanci. You all have been an integral part of Christian's and Tyson's lives and I'm certain they will always remember you.

  • As first time parents preparing to leave our son when I returned to work, it was comforting knowing he was going to Childventures. The Infant team treated him as one of their own which helped us feel at ease with the decision to put him in group care. He flourished throughout his time at the centre as did his sister. Both still get excited to say “Hi” to their teachers and give them hugs when they go back to visit. We are so appreciative to the Childventures team for all the care and love that they provided to both our children throughout their early years.

  • When we first began looking at daycare options, I was expecting our first son, Sam, and I also knew that returning to work soon after his birth was necessary for me as I am a business owner. Never having had children before, I read up on some important qualities of what to look for in a daycare provider, but at the end of the day, I also knew my instincts and my appreciation for caring, order and professionalism were going to drive our decisions to choose the best fit for Sam and ultimately, his brother two years later, Benjamin. Sam began in the Infant program when he was almost 4 months old, and Benjamin when he was less than 2 months old. It was so important, given the needs of the kids but also the demands of my work, that we all have a great relationship with their caregivers. We really wanted our kids to form relationships with caregivers readily and happily, and this was made possible by Childventures having very kind and well-informed childhood educators. They have learned so much in every way from their time at Childventures. Childventures offered our kids excellent nutrition, a clean, safe and well-managed place to play and learn, and a well-balanced environment of education and compassion for growing little people. Not once have I ever worried about saying good bye in the morning, and have always been so happy to see their smiling confident faces when I returned after work. Having a place like that where your kids can go to school in such early formative years is truly priceless. Sam is now 8 years old, and Benjamin 5 years old. They are both in the public school system full-time, but come back to Childventures every day on the bus after school, playing with many of the same friends they made over the years, and seeing teachers from as far back as Infant and Pre-school when we pass in the hallways each day. Each day sees them growing up a little bit more and one day they will fully graduate from Childventures, a place that has meant to much to our kids and our families. Thank you so much to everyone.

  • From the moment we toured Childventures seven years ago, we knew we wanted our son to be there for childcare. The centre was extremely clean, the teachers were attentive and the transparency in the care and safety provided were distinct. Our son Jacob joined the infant program at the age of 11 months and had no trouble adjusting to the environment. The teachers were loving and engaging and they genuinely took an interest in Jacobs’ development. The meals provided were not only nutritious but also had a wide variety of flavours, which made trying new foods at home less challenging. Childventures and the team were more than a daycare for our son, they were a loving and nurturing family. Having seen our son excel in language development, creativity and independence, it was only natural to also send our daughter Elise to Childventures. Jacob and Elise came home with exciting stories of their day. They were eager to demonstrate their successes such as doing up buttons and zippers on their own. We heard stories about their activities and outdoor playtime, listened to songs they learned and watched them practice for their concerts. We have experienced the full spectrum of care at Childventures from the infant program to full time kindergarten, the amazing summer camp, as well as the before and after school program. The teachers are knowledgeable and have always put the needs of our children at the forefront of care. They fostered and encouraged our childrens’ curiosity while reinforcing work ethic, socialization and respect for others. Jacob and Elise were enriched and challenged by the curriculum and this led to an easy transition and success in grade school. We always knew our kids were safe, cared for and stimulated. We continue to enjoy Childventures as an extension of our family.

  • Both of my children have had exceptional care at CV in Burlington, for the last three years. Kim, Jenna, Janice, Steve, Kelly, Cory and the rest of your teams - you have all made our experience at Childventures so positive and successful. When my son needed extra care and attention, everyone collaborated with us to make sure that he would succeed. We couldn't imagine then, the child that is before us today. CV was integral in that. We will be sad when our time at CV is finished.

  • If you are looking for an outstanding place to send your child for care, I recommend Childventures Early Learning Academy. I have had such an amazing experience with this organization. My son started when he was 2 years old and right from the moment we walked into the center for the first time I felt a feeling of comfort. The teachers are welcoming and caring to both you and your child. They make an effort to acknowledge and give a warm smile when you and your child walk into the room. The center is beautiful and well maintained. The have a personal chef that creates wonderful nutritious dishes for the children. They are provided with breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. Some of the services they provide that eased my mind as a parent was that they have a hand scan to enter into the center and camera's in each room that your can log onto to view your child and see how they are doing throughout the day. My son is now 7 and he has gone through all programs, graduated and has been enrolled each year into their summer camp program. Their summer camp program is wonderful. Each week is filled with fun, activities, and day trips to stimulate their minds. They are also provide with the same meal plan (Breakfast, Lunch and afternoon snack). I am very happy with the experience I have had with Childventures and I highly recommend this center for you and your child. You won't regret your decision.

  • My son has been enrolled at Childventures since the age of 11 months. He has flourished into a bright, caring little boy and I am fascinated everyday with what he knows and what he is capable of doing. The teachers love what they do and they demonstrate that in the classrooms daily. I am forever grateful for the care and education my little boy has received and still does within the Preschool program.

  • There are not enough words to express my gratitude towards Childventures. My daughter started with them in Toddlers and graduated their SK program. The entire time she was there, she was loved, respected and motivated to learn. Having exposure to multiple curricular philosophies helped her to be an open minded learner. The center, the staff and the magic that happens there, helped to shape my daughter into the person she is today. For that, I will be forever thankful.

  • A big THANK YOU to Yolanda and Zoherain for all the love and dedication they showed Peyton and hard work towards her development. We have seen many positive changes in her over the time she has been in the Toddler room. She has certainly grown and learned a lot. Zoherain has worked hard on trying to get Peyton to stand up for herself and she exhibited that trait last week when she wanted to do go through a tunnel and other bigger kids were going in before her. She stood up in front of these big kids pointed her finger to them and kept saying 'NO' 'NO'. I think Z would have been proud. Thanks

  • Please rest assured that this is 100% a logistical reason and if it weren’t for the travelling, or SMLS now having a pre-school program, Nicola would continue her amazing education with Childventures. I have previously looked and visited closer schools for Nicola and believe me when I tell you: none of them come close to being half as good as Childventures. Yes, I’m biased but seeing Kylah today, excelling at school as she does, I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that it is because of the amazing foundation she had at Childventures. As such, I know Nicola, with what she has already been blessed with in terms of her experience with you so far, will have the same foundation. As a parent, giving my girls the BEST education is one of the greatest gifts I can give them. Childventures doesn’t just provide excellent child care; they “grow” little people.

  • Thanks for everything during our 7 year stay at Childventures! We will miss you and all the staff dearly. Throughout the years a few teachers have stood out....I'd like you to thank them for me. They are Joanna, Katie, Amber and Nicole, Cory, Ursula, Sandy and many more I just cannot remember. If you ever need a parent to act as an advocate, please contact me. I would be proud to give your school a glowing review. Thank-you also to Dr. Walter for starting this wonderful school, I only wish he would take it to middle school.

  • I can’t believe that I’m saying goodbye to Childventures today. It’s been an amazing 3 years. I can’t thank you enough for all of the time that you have taken in ensuring the happiness, success and safety of Emma and Paige. Why can’t you go up to grade 8? Childventures planted the seed and grew beautiful flowers for Emma and Paige’s academic foundation. You really run an amazing program.

  • I wanted to express my gratitude to you for all that you did while Julian was at CV. He's definitely going to miss you!! What you gave me was peace of mind every time I dropped Julian off and for that, I will be forever grateful. We will definitely look back on this chapter of his life fondly. Thanks again and all the best!

  • Thank you also again for maintaining such a high quality childcare centre. It has been a big relief to me and my husband to find such an amazing place for Robert to stay during the day. Based on what I have seen in other daycares, I know that high quality doesn't come easy - it requires good oversight and lots of extra attention by everyone at the centre. Thank you so much for maintaining such a great place that parents can rely on and where kids are treated with so much love/respect, allowing them to grow to their full potential! Although our stay there was short, my husband and I are so grateful for the service provided by the centre and know that other parents will be too.

  • I have already seen a difference in Kaitlyn. She seems to really be starting to adjust to the program. Steve and I have noticed she is able to play more independently now and she’s really starting to crawl and move herself around by hanging onto walls, furniture etc. Probably because she sees the other children in her class walking. I look forward to this continuing. I was also very touched by the beautiful Mother’s day gift that was waiting for me on Kaitlyn’s first day back. It was so wonderful and I am very appreciative of the effort that went into helping Kaitlyn make that. I am much more comfortable and it makes me happy when Kaitlyn sees her teachers and smiles in the morning. Thank you for all that you and the team does and especially to Jennifer and the rest of the infant care teachers who are really making an extra effort to make sure Kaitlyn is adjusting and thriving.

  • We have our youngest daughter enrolled in the Burlington CV and our oldest attended Ancaster CV until she went to school and joins the group in Burlington for school breaks and summer camp. I have to say it has been a great experience for us. The staff has been extremely supportive with food sensitivities and family challenges we have had to assist our children in overcoming. They provide regular feedback on the girls' progress and development and don't hesitate when I call every day to check in on the youngest as I don't typically do the drop offs and pickups and want to stay connected to those who are caring for her. The menus are, by far, better than ANY childcare program I have ever been in and to be honest, I work in the childcare field myself and still bring my daughter to CV rather than where I work because the quality of care she receives is more than I could ever ask for. We are extremely satisfied with the program and I would recommend it to anyone.
