Childventures: A Home Away From Home

/ in Uncategorized /

At Childventures we strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that not only your child will be comfortable with but yourself also! We’ve gone above and beyond to ensure that extra measures have been taken to ensure your child has all the comforts of home. We’ve listed the ways that we accommodate any of your child’s needs based on age.

Infant  (0-18mo)

For our infants program we ensure that we have all the things your baby is familiar with at home – sleeping, eating, being held, being smiled at and being spoken to. We pride ourselves on our ability to cater to the individual needs of each child, and can accommodate different schedules, multiple naps, food preferences or whatever specific needs your child has.

Toddlers (18-30mo)

A creative, warm and welcoming environment for children aged 18 to 30 months to play, develop and learn. This program offers a more structured group setting, with a schedule that includes plenty of stimulating indoor and outdoor experiences, lots of free choice and exposure to a variety of play and learning materials.

Preschool (2-4yrs)

At this age is when we start to implement our blended curriculum with aspects of Montessori and Core Knowledge. Children have the chance to be involved in a variety of activities that foster and develop a love for learning and discovery. While some elements of the program are more structured, some depend on the choice of the child, offering an excellent introduction to self-guided learning.

Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten (4-6yrs)

For children age 4-6 we offer a more formal classroom setting that’s focuses on both structure and self-guided discovery. The program will also build on the rudimentary elements of Montessori and Core Knowledge introduced in preschool.
