Wellness Wednesday! Grilled Turkey Burger Recipe

Try our head chef’s delicious grilled turkey burger recipe for dinner tonight! Your children will find them delicious!

Ingredients       

2 lb of ground turkey

1 tbsp finely chopped parsley

½ tsp fresh minced garlic

¼ tsp oregano

½ cup bread crumbs

Seasoning salt to taste

Directions

In a medium size bowl, combine all ingredients together thoroughly.  If you have a food processor, that’s even better.  Divide the meat into 8 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball shape.  Flatten each meatball to about ½ inch in thickness.  Grill over an open flame turning once.  About 7 minutes per side.  If you have a probe thermometer, the internal temperature should be 174 degrees F or 79 degrees C.  Be sure to spray your grill with non stick spray to prevent sticking.  Serve on lightly toasted brioche buns with baby spinach and cranberry sauce.
